Yield: 1 cup

2 avocados
2 tbsp lime juice
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp jalapeño, deseeded and finely diced
1/4 cup shallot, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/8 tsp smoked paprika 
salt and pepper, to taste

1. Place the avocados into a medium bowl. Mash with a fork.
2. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
